This qualification reflects the role of individuals establishing or operating a business providing self-employment, as well as those establishing a new venture as part of a larger organisation.

These individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to solve a range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have responsibility for the output of others.

In this course, you’ll learn how to:

  • Research and develop business plans
  • Build and maintain business relationships
  • Establish legal and risk management requirements for new business ventures

The total course duration of BSB40320 Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business is 52 weeks. This includes:

  • Compulsory orientation and course induction on the first Monday of every month.
  • 20 hours per week x 52 weeks (inclusive of compulsory holiday breaks)

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Applicants should be a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of application and must be 18 years of age at the commencement of the course. Students must also be able to obtain several security clearance checks.
